This species is present on calcareous mountains in the southern Apuseni and in the Banat Mountains, also in the western part of the Meridional Carpathians. In the rest of the Romanian Carpathians the species is rare and insular, expading to the north up to the Carpathians from Ukraine.Cheile Intregalde, Trascau Mountains, Alba county, July 2005. dr.
